Mission: The Peace Through Music Project’s mission is to promote nationwide peace through music by connecting composers and music educators in a friendly and healthy community as well as gathering funding used to enrich music programs and composers around the nation who struggle financially.

It’s no secret that there are a lot of problems in the music community. Issues with music programs receiving very little funding or attention, music educators barely scraping by with low paychecks, composers overpricing music, but also composers not able to sell any music. It appears even within our own music community there is a severe lack in peace. It’s time for that to change. We must do away with the old system of arts, and we need to be there for one another so we can all prosper and focus on our passion: making music.

Peace Through Music’s entire purpose is to kickstart this culture shift and better our world through it. Though we may be few now, we are strong and passionate, and we can do this! Please consider joining the Peace Through Music Project and help us reach our goal!

• Offer an open forum for composers and music educators to communicate, collaborate, and talk with each other and their own communities about their craft.
• Publish the yearly Challenges for Composers series book containing composition challenges to help young and experienced composers refine their craft and discover their voice, as well as provide some education on composition.
• Fund-raise for struggling music programs, educators, and composers. 0 profit will be made by Peace Through Music. (501(c)(3) pending)

• The most helpful way you can contribute is through a monthly donation!

• Depending on the state you live in, you can sometimes use a federal tax credit to donate to Peace through Music that you can deduct from your taxes!

• Purchasing a book in our Challenges for Composers series is another way you can help to fund our mission!
